Filter stations

Disc filter technology has evolved significantly in recent years. It now allows filtering smaller and smaller micro-particles (few microns).
Widely used for watering applications, especially agricultural irrigation, disc filtering also proved very effective for the pre-treatment of wastewater containing all kinds of suspended solids (organic matter).

Recommendations

In case of using a filtering system on low pressure such as for filling a tank with water, it will be imperative to install a control valve on the outlet pipe to maintain pressure upstream, to help keep constant pressure exceeding 2.5 bar at the filter station and allow a smooth operation in retro wash.
